A first pull-up, a strength PB, a race or event, a long trip, or a competition. Anything where "general fitness" isn't quite right.

Injury, niggle, illness, a recent break, or pregnancy & post-natal. We'll build programming around what your body can do, not what a textbook says.

Need accountability.

You train better when someone's expecting you. A standing 1:1 slot keeps the wheels turning even when motivation dips.

Want to learn the lifts properly.

Strength training has a learning curve. A few months of 1:1 sets you up to train confidently in classes or open gym for years afterwards.

After a long break, or starting again post-injury, or just feeling out of shape. We'll meet you where you are without making it weird.

A simple onboarding so you know what you're signing up for before any money changes hands.

Enquire.

Send the 1:1 enquiry form and we'll come back to you within a day, usually from Idris directly. Tell us what you're trying to do.

Free intro.

20 minutes with the coach we think is the best fit. Look around the gym, talk through your goal, ask anything. No sales pitch.

First session.

Assessment + first proper training session. We'll get a baseline and walk you through the plan we've built for you.

Ongoing.

Regular 1:1 sessions on a standing slot, with programme adjustments as you progress. Bring questions, we'll bring the structure.

Access to the wider team If you need physio (Sangita), naturopathy (Cleo), or a different coach's expertise, your coach can pull them in.
Open Gym between sessions Many clients add Open Gym access alongside 1:1 so they can train on their own under your coach's plan.

1:1 Coaching rates.

Buy sessions in a package and your per-session rate drops. Most people start with 10.

Sessions are 60 minutes. Bring a partner for +30% on the rate.

Common questions

Before you book.

How often should I train 1:1?

Most clients land on 1–2 sessions per week, supported by their own training in between. We'll work out the right cadence in your free intro based on your goal and schedule.

Do I need to be already fit?

No. We work with complete beginners through to advanced lifters and athletes. The starting point doesn't matter — only that you're up for it.

How long until I see results?

Strength and confidence shifts within a few weeks, visible changes around 8–12. We'll set realistic markers so progress is measurable rather than vibes-based.

Can I train with a friend?

Yes — Partner Training is +30% on the per-session rate. Good for couples, training buddies, or two people with similar goals.

Do packages expire?

We give a reasonable window to use up a package and stay flexible if life gets in the way. Specifics depend on the size — we'll talk you through it when you enquire.

What if I need physio support too?

Sangita, our in-house physiotherapist, works from the gym. Your coach can refer in directly and the two of us will coordinate on what your body's ready for.
